Following the finale of House, Hugh Laurie’s next project brings him back to the big screen. Laurie is currently in talks to be the villain– evil and ultra-rich CEO of Omnicorp– in Sony’s reboot of the 1987 science-fiction film Robocop. The film will also include Gary Oldman as his scientist-creator and Samuel L. Jackson as a media mogul. Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) has been cast as the title hero–a cop named Alex Murphy brought back from the brink of death and turned into a cyborg police officer.
